1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all private tours, transfers, excursions, guiding services, and other travel-related services provided by M1 Tours.
By confirming a booking or making a payment, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once M1 Tours has provided written confirmation and the required deposit has been received.
The person making the booking is responsible for providing correct information regarding the number of guests, pickup and drop-off locations, luggage, and other relevant details.
3. Prices
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise specified.
Only services specifically mentioned in the booking confirmation are included in the package price.
Unless otherwise stated, the following are not included:

Cable cars and mountain railways
-
Train and boat tickets
-
Entrance fees
-
Food and beverages
-
Accommodation
-
Optional activities
-
Personal expenses
-
Travel and accident insurance
Additional services requested during the tour may result in additional charges.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking and reserve the requested tour date.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms stated in the booking confirmation.
A reservation is not guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.
Any applicable online payment or card processing fees will be communicated before payment.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, the following cancellation conditions apply:

More than 14 days before the tour: Refund of payments made, less non-refundable third-party costs and payment processing fees.

7–14 days before the tour: 50% of the total booking price is non-refundable.

Less than 7 days before the tour: 100% of the total booking price is non-refundable.

No-show: No refund will be provided.
Any mandatory rights provided by applicable Swiss law remain unaffected.
6. Rebooking
Tour date changes are subject to availability.

Changes requested at least 7 days before the tour may be made without an M1 Tours rebooking fee.

Changes requested less than 7 days before the tour may be subject to a CHF 100 rebooking fee.
Additional charges from third-party providers may also apply.
7. Itinerary Changes
M1 Tours reserves the right to adjust the itinerary, route, departure time, or sequence of destinations when necessary due to:

Weather conditions
-
Traffic or road closures
-
Safety concerns
-
Mountain conditions
-
Seasonal schedules
-
Operational interruptions
-
Events outside the reasonable control of M1 Tours
Whenever possible, an alternative destination or activity will be offered.
The safety and comfort of our guests remain our priority.
8. Mountain Excursions and Optional Activities
Mountain excursions, cable cars, trains, boats, entrance tickets, and optional activities are subject to weather conditions, seasonal schedules, availability, and the operating conditions of the respective provider.
Unless specifically included in the confirmed package, these services must be booked and paid for separately, either online in advance or directly on-site.
M1 Tours cannot guarantee the operation or availability of third-party activities.
9. Third-Party Services
M1 Tours may recommend or assist with services provided by third parties, including hotels, restaurants, railway companies, cable-car operators, boat companies, museums, and activity providers.
The terms, cancellation policies, and operating conditions of the respective third-party provider apply.
M1 Tours is not responsible for delays, cancellations, closures, or interruptions caused by independent third-party providers, except where liability is required by applicable law.
10. Late Arrival
Guests must be ready at the confirmed meeting point at the agreed pickup time.
Late arrival may result in a shortened tour or certain destinations being removed from the itinerary.
Additional tour time may be provided where possible and may be subject to an additional charge.
M1 Tours is not responsible for missed reservations, trains, boats, cable cars, or activities resulting from delays caused by the customer.
11. Airport Transfers
Customers must provide the correct:

Flight number

Arrival or departure time
-
Number of passengers
-
Number of check-in and hand-carry luggage
M1 Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate normal flight delays.
Significant waiting times, additional parking charges, or major schedule changes may result in additional costs.
12. Luggage
Customers must inform M1 Tours in advance about the number and size of luggage and any oversized items.
Transportation of undeclared luggage cannot be guaranteed if it does not safely fit inside the assigned vehicle.
13. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Carrying valid identification and travel documents

Following safety instructions from the guide or driver

Wearing seat belts
-
Respecting Swiss laws and regulations
-
Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear
-
Ensuring they are physically capable of participating in selected activities
-
Taking care of their personal belongings
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside M1 Tours vehicles.
M1 Tours reserves the right to terminate a service without refund if a participant behaves dangerously, illegally, abusively, or in a manner that threatens the safety of others.
14. Children
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Customers must provide the ages of children before the tour so that appropriate seating or child-restraint arrangements can be made where required.
15. International Tours
For tours crossing international borders, all participants are responsible for carrying valid passports, identification documents, visas, residence permits, and any other required travel documents.
M1 Tours is not responsible if a customer is refused entry into another country due to missing, invalid, or insufficient documentation.
16. Photography, Video and Drone Services
Photography, video, and drone services are subject to weather conditions, local regulations, airspace restrictions, safety requirements, and operational limitations.
Drone flights cannot be guaranteed at every destination.
If a separately paid drone service cannot be provided, the applicable amount for the undelivered service may be refunded or credited.
Customer photos or videos will not be used publicly for marketing purposes without permission.
17. Weather and Force Majeure
M1 Tours cannot guarantee weather conditions.
Tours may be modified because of severe weather, natural events, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, transport interruptions, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of M1 Tours.
Safety takes priority over the original itinerary.
Where possible, M1 Tours will provide a reasonable alternative.
18. Cancellation by M1 Tours
M1 Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if it cannot be safely or reasonably operated.
If M1 Tours cancels a service for reasons within its control and no suitable alternative can be provided, payments made for the undelivered M1 Tours service will be refunded.
M1 Tours is not responsible for independently booked flights, hotels, tickets, or other consequential expenses, except where required by applicable law.
19. Liability
M1 Tours provides its services with reasonable care and professionalism.
M1 Tours is not responsible for loss, damage, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by independent third-party providers, except where liability is required by Swiss law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Swiss law.
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour.
20. Lost Property
Customers should check that they have all personal belongings before leaving the vehicle.
M1 Tours will make reasonable efforts to return items found inside its vehicles.
Any shipping or courier costs related to returning lost items are the responsibility of the customer.
21. Travel Insurance
Customers are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel, cancellation, accident, and health insurance.
M1 Tours does not provide personal travel or medical insurance unless expressly stated otherwise.
Any medical treatment, rescue, mountain rescue, or repatriation expenses remain the responsibility of the customer or their insurer.
22. Complaints
Any issue during the tour should be reported to the guide or M1 Tours as soon as possible so that an appropriate solution can be attempted.
Complaints after the completion of the service should be submitted in writing with the relevant booking information.
23. Package Travel
Where a booking qualifies as a package travel arrangement under mandatory Swiss law, the applicable mandatory statutory provisions take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.
24. Intellectual Property
The M1 Tours name, website content, photographs, videos, tour descriptions, graphics, and other original materials may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
26. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, insofar as legally permissible.
Mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction provisions remain reserved.
